The spring semester in Buenos Aires is an 18-week college credit program which runs from January through the end of May. The spring semester is an intensive dance and Spanish program geared towards college aged students. Students will leave this course with a conversational understanding of Spanish, and will participate in an intensive dance curriculum which will improve their dance technique and artistry. A semester in Argentina will give students the opportunity to embrace and understand the culture of Argentina and gain the experience of living in a foreign country. Students will attend an intensive Spanish course through the University of Buenos Aires and will have a full schedule of dance classes. Housing will be provided in shared dorm style student housing.
Pre-departure services:
- Enrollment and financial aid assistance.
- Dance schedule advising based on dancer's needs and program goals.
- Guidance with travel plans and airline ticket purchase.
- Coordination with school advisors to assure college credits will be accepted at home institution.
- Pre-departure information and living expenses budget.
Arrival and on-site services:
- Airport greeting and pickup.
- Orientation packet including: subway card, city maps, general information, and more!
- Extensive on-site orientation
- Dance classes for college credit (College credit awarded through DEAN College.)
- Intensive Spanish class for college credit through the University of Buenos Aires. (UBA)
- Housing in a group house/dorm with other DanceAbroad, and international students.

- Excursions and cultural events
Post-program services:
- Farewell dinner.
- Airport drop-off.
- Transcript from University of Buenos Aires for Spanish class.
- Transcript from Dean College for dance classes
- Assistance in transferring college credits.
